Is emancipation necessary?

im 17 and i graduate in about a month but i dont turn 18 for about 3 months, i have a friend that im interested in but hes 22, my mom knows about him and forbides me to have anything to do with him. she says if i dont stop talking to him shes going to put a restraining order on him, for no reason other than our age difference. is this possible? can i move out after graduating?
