Brainy wife offends less intelligent friends?

Both my husband and I are "straight shooters" and that does tend to offend some people at times. Personally, I don't care. People that know us - business ociates and friends/family - know that about us and accept it for what it is...Most of the time they won't ask us a question is they don't want to hear the answer. The best you can do is to try to steer the conversations away from those controversial topics...
