How can hair grow faster??

My mom cut my hair short and it has grow like..1 inch since. I liked it better short and I really want my hair to grow faster without using topical creams or having to buy things. I dont have mane and tail shampoo or coconut hair oil. Christmas is coming up and I dont want everybody to see me with ugly shortish hair.
