Ipod 4g nano trouble?

I had it on shuffle and i guess i was pressing the ons too fast, so it froze and then the screen went off..it had plenty of battery and when i try to charge it , it doesnt pop up on my computer...i dont know whats rong...it seems dead but i even tried charging it even tho it has plenty of battery im sure..what do i ???
