What does this mean??

Well yesterday I went to the casino and saw this guy I like, whom likes me too..We've been talking for a few months now, he has complimented me alot too, we flirt but just can't seem to do it face to face..too nerve racking I guess.. He is the host there so it is his job to smile, shake hands, put his arm around old people and give people pats on the back. When I came up to talk to him some other lady started talking to me and the guy I like put his hand on the mid of my back and started rubbing real lightly..i dont even think it was considered rubbing..grazing my back for 30 seconds or so...but it felt great..kind of gave me the sensation like when someone plays with your hair and you could almost fall asleep. Anyway, he did that and I was thinking "does he do that to everyone here? is a it 'common' curtousy for hosts to do 'that' ?"
