Should I be scared or worried about this?

My boyfriend of 8 months has recently asked me to move in with him. Im basically living there now, although I still have my own place. It doesnt make sense for me to keep paying on something Im not living in, but I just feel scared about moving in with him. He is a great guy, and I know this is a long term thing, but....it still spooks me a bit. This would be the first time Ive actually lived with someone I was dating, and I'm 26. Is it normal to feel this way? Thanks.
