I need an answer fast! Keeping hair straight all day?!?

Okay, so i have damaged hair but it doesnt really look it. i have naturally really ugly poofy wavy hair. My mom is a hairdresser and has all the ghd and chi straightners and all heat prtection and creams and stuff. but i dont have time to go out and buty anything because i have to start getting ready for this thing in like one hour. But tonight its going to be pretty cold, no humidity and no wind, but yesterday my hair would stay straight at the bottom, like the ends just flip outwards! i realllllly neeeeeed helllpppp! <3
