Fix a ipod nano that went in laundry?

k my friend gave me his old ipod nano (first gen) cause he got a chromatic but the reason he gave it to me is because it went through the laundry and the screen has some cracks. every time i plug it in to charge it makes a buzzing noise and one time it zapped me. is there anyway to fix it
